If we aren’t grieved when we sin, it should concern us. It means we either don’t understand the seriousness of sin, or—far worse—we’re still dead in our sins.

Our grief over sin is a huge gift - it proves to us that we have the Holy Spirit within us! Without Him we could not even feel bad, much less have a repentant heart. But He is in our hearts alive and well when we cannot stand our sin, and we fight it, and we hate even the clothing stained with it!!!
